Defensive Zone Faceoff
On a Faceoff Win
- Center wins draw to D & ties up player
- Left And right wings angle hard for the neutral zone
- Right defence banks puck for left defence
- Left defence either:
- fires puck up the middle for right winger
- hits left winger
- hits centre down low
What if the weak side isn’t available?
If the weak side is taken away, D should chip puck into neutral zone with wingers driving hard

On a Faceoff loss, we play man to man until we can re-establish our zone defence.
